Getting started

What kind of businesses does Sizym work with?

Independent service providers — trades, clinics, studios, consultants, local shops. If people find you online and need to get in touch before they buy, we can help.

What happens after I request a free audit?

We look at your website, how it performs on mobile, how it appears in search, and how enquiries currently reach you. You get a short written summary of what we'd fix first. If you'd like to talk it through, we'll book a call. If not, the audit is still yours.

Do I need to know what I want before I contact you?

No. Most people arrive knowing something isn't working, not which service fixes it. That's what the first conversation is for.

Websites

How long does a new website take?

Most sites take three to six weeks from kickoff. The biggest variable is usually how quickly content, photos and feedback come together on your side.

Can you improve the website I already have?

Often, yes. We'll audit it and tell you honestly whether improving it or rebuilding it costs less in the long run — sometimes the answer is that your current site is fine and the problem is elsewhere.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We set things up so you can change text, add pages and update details without needing us, and we walk you through it before handover.

Who owns the website?

You do — the site, the domain, the content and every account connected to it. We don't hold anything hostage.

SEO and marketing

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show up within weeks. Meaningful movement in rankings and traffic usually takes two to four months, and it compounds from there. Anyone promising faster than that is guessing.

Can you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?

No, and neither can anyone else. Search results depend on factors nobody controls. What we can do is fix what's holding your site back, target realistic terms, and show you the data as it moves.

Do I need to be on every social platform?

Almost certainly not. Two channels done consistently beat six done occasionally. We'd rather help you pick the ones your customers actually use.

Automation

Will automation make my business feel impersonal?

Only if it's done badly. We automate the predictable parts — acknowledgements, reminders, review requests — and write them in your voice. The actual conversations stay with you, with more time to have them properly.

What can realistically be automated?

Lead capture and routing, instant replies to enquiries, follow-up sequences, appointment reminders, post-job check-ins, review requests and re-engagement emails to past customers.

Do I need new software for this?

Usually we work with tools you already have or straightforward, low-cost ones. We'll be clear about any subscription costs before setting anything up.

Working together

How is pricing structured?

Project work is quoted as a fixed scope with a fixed price. Ongoing SEO, marketing or automation support is monthly with a defined set of work. You'll see the numbers before anything starts.

Do you work with businesses in my area?

We work remotely with businesses, so location isn't a barrier. If your business serves specific areas, we'll build your site to target those properly.

Where are your case studies and testimonials?

They'll be published as clients approve them. We don't invent results, quotes or logos to fill a page — if it isn't here yet, it's because it isn't verified yet.
